Fave Vegan Sunscreen: 100% Pure Yerba Mate Mist with SPF30
It’s that time of year when stocking up on sunscreen is a must! Luckily, there are quite a few wonderful vegan and cruelty-free sunscreens to choose from. When it comes to sunscreen, I’m pretty particular. It needs to be: vegan & cruelty-free (of course), 25+ SPF, non-toxic (which most conventional sunscreens aren’t), preferably water-resistant, safe for face and body, and easy to apply (no goopy, gloppy, thick white creams, please).
Needless to say, when 100% Pure came out with a vegan sunscreen mist, I HAD to try it! Check it out!
100% Pure Yerba Mate Mist with SPF 30 is a mattifying, quick-drying, and easy to apply sun shieldy mist that gives you full UVA/UVB protection. It contains yerba mate tea leaf which is loaded with mega antioxidants to help protect against free radicals and environmental pollutants. There are zero synthetics and the ingredients are all naturally-derived. I’ve been using this daily from head to toe, and I love how it offers a continuous, all over, even spray, covering all my skin’s nooks and crannies. Other things worth noting: you can use this on your body and face, it’s water resistant (up to 80 minutes), it’s not at all sticky, and it doesn’t leave any nasty thick white residue (you still have to really rub it in, though).
